Our work is delivered through five complementary programs: English Learning, Workforce Development, Financial Literacy, DMV Access and Assistance, and Employer Referral and Job Support. Together, these programs create practical pathways that strengthen employability, expand opportunity, and promote long-term economic stability.

Established in California in September 2025, AFAO is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) as a tax-exempt charitable organization and is committed to the highest standards of nonprofit governance, transparency, accountability, and responsible stewardship. The organization is led by leadership with professional experience in nonprofit management, program development, monitoring and evaluation, human resources, and internationally supported community development initiatives.

AFAO seeks to build strong partnerships with foundations, public agencies, employers, educational institutions, community organizations, and individual donors who share a commitment to expanding opportunity and strengthening communities. Through collaboration and strategic investment, we aim to increase access to education, employment, financial capability, and essential services for the communities we serve.

As AFAO continues to grow, our commitment remains clear: to deliver measurable community impact, strengthen organizational capacity, and create sustainable pathways that empower individuals and families to achieve lasting economic self-sufficiency while contributing to stronger, more resilient communities.
